beautyxbars LLC started as a hobby to keep myself busy while I was pregnant and my husband was away for the military. I've always had an obsession with "cute" soaps and self care products, I even had a rubbermade tub FULL of products stashed underneath my bed. Why? Because what's better than a relaxing bath at the end of a hard day? Nothing! It's your time to wash away all of your problems and get away from the world. It's where I can cleanse my mind as I cleanse my body. And now as a wife and mother (who barely has time to herself) I've learned to appreciate my showers even more so.

While researching and first creating my products I wanted them to be fun yet functional. I wanted a product great for all skin types. Which is why I don't include SLS/SLES in my products and use a Vegan, Vegetable based and Gluten Free base.

My household strictly uses only the products that I make. My son has gnarly eczema that makes him miserable and we've found that regularly using my scrubs is the only way to keep it under control and prevent flair ups. And then there's my husband who gets concrete burns and rashes from working construction. My soaps and scrubs are the only thing that keeps him from constantly being itchy and helping to replenish all the moisture back into his skin. I cannot use any name brand soaps or my entire body will break out into hives and I'll leave the shower with my skin feeling tight and dry. Overall, we ALL have really sensitive skin. I don't just make and sell. I LIVE by my products because it's the only ones that will actually help my family and I. I'm hoping that I can be that saving grace for you too (and that my designs are able to bring a smile to your face.)
